CIDM members and colleagues gathered at the 12th Annual Best Practices Conference in Hampton, Virginia on September 13-15, 2010.
In 2010 and beyond, building a collaborative environment in your organization is critical. Collaboration provides the framework on which innovations in information development and delivery can occur. Collaboration makes it possible to respond to the challenge of constrained resources and measure the value you create for your customers.
At this premier industry conference for managers who represent documentation, training, and customer support, learn how your colleagues are promoting and implementing industry best practices and responding to the changing economy. Using a wealth of experience as a guide, you will exchange expertise and understanding to
- develop a culture of collaboration in your team respond to the economic crisis with creative problem solving
- use metrics to legitimize your organization’s value and the value you provide to the customer
- move effectively toward dynamic publishing, giving your customers more options in accessing content
- add video and other media to your publishing portfolio
- develop and implement new roles and responsibilities for your team members
- communicate more effectively with executives and colleagues
