Vertafore is looking for an experienced Technical Documentation Manager who can lead the development and delivery of documentation across the wide array of Vertafore products. We are building documentation as a specialty discipline and seeking a manager to bring thought leadership to the strategy, focus, and form of product documentation we decide to take within the organization. This is an opportunity to create impact, have ownership, and build the documentation function as your legacy at Vertafore. This position is based at our Bothell, WA headquarters. Working remote is not an option.
The Documentation Manager will work closely with Product Development, Product Management, Professional Services, and other stakeholders to set the overall strategic direction for product documentation including release notes, installation guides, in-product help and API documentation. The Documentation Manager will determine the overall documentation team structure, prioritize documentation needs, and lead a team that works closely with Engineering and Professional Services to manage the development of high quality product documentation for delivery to both internal and external customers.
